Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What if my kitchen is small?

A: Most of the kitchens I work in are normal home kitchens – apartments, galley layouts, older houses. You do not need a giant island or a TV-style setup. As long as we can comfortably fit you and your guests, I design the menu and stations around your space. We can use the dining table as a prep area, rotate people through tasks, and keep tools and equipment simple. If you are unsure, you can always send me a quick photo of your space before booking and I will confirm a layout that will work.

Q: Do you bring ingredients?

A: You handle the groceries, I handle the game plan. Once you choose your menu, I send a clear, detailed shopping list so you can control cost and shop where you like. On the night, I arrive with the plan, printed recipes, and any specialty tools or teaching materials we need. If you prefer me to source any specific specialty items, we can discuss that in advance.

Q: What if guests don’t like to cook?

Kitchen Party Night is designed for mixed comfort levels in the kitchen. I set up roles so there are options for everyone: hands-on cooking tasks for people who want to dive in, and lighter jobs like mixing, tasting, plating, or garnishing for guests who are more hesitant. Nobody is put on the spot or made to feel like they are being tested. In practice, even the “I don’t cook” guests usually end up jumping in once they see how simple and guided everything is. If someone truly prefers to just hang out with a drink and watch, that is perfectly fine too.
